About
Kalbene is a small, family-owned plant nursery in Latvia, founded in 2022 by Elīna Zaperecka. They are continuously on the lookout for rare and tasty heirloom varieties and new, intriguing open-pollinated tomato varieties as well as physalis, peppers, and other plants. Kalbene currently has more than 350 different varieties of tomatoes and 180 chili pepper varieties in their globally-sourced, ever-expanding collection. The majority of Kalbene’s seeds and plants are sold to customers in Europe, however, they also sell worldwide.
