About Zurab Kukhinidze, Rozovyy (Зураб Кухинидзе, Розовый)
‘Zurab Kukhinidze, Rozovyy’ is an old family heirloom tomato from the Kukhinidze family of Georgia, Europe. Seeds were sent to Natalia Dryzhakova of Yaroslavl, Russia in 2016. She introduced this variety in public and shared its seeds with the members of the ‘tomat-pomidor.com’ forum.
Indeterminate, regular leaf, tall, strong and healthy plants are outstanding producers of gorgeous, huge (25-32oz./700-900g), crimson-pink* beefsteaks, with very meaty, dense, and juicy flesh, small seed cavities, and very few seeds. The taste of the fruits is outstanding, sweet, and rich, well-balanced tomato flavors. Great slicer. Mid- to late season, about 80-85 days to maturity.
*There is also a red-fruited strain of this variety selected.
