‘Zolotoye Serdtse’ is a Russian commercial variety selected by Yuri Ivanovich Panchev of the Research Center in 1999. It was added to the State Register in 2001. Determinate, regular leaf plants produce large (4-7oz./120-200g), orange hearts, with a delicious, rich, and sweet flavor. Juicy and very meaty flesh with very few seeds. Great for fresh, but also perfect for canning, cooking, and fresh juice. A great producer with good disease resistance. Midseason, about 75-85 days after transplant.
