About Zluta Kytice

This variety originated from the Czech Republic. Name means ‘yellow flowers’ in Czech. First offered in the Seed Savers 1997 Yearbook by Bill Minkey of Darien, Wisconsin, who received the seeds from Mrs. Rose-Marie Lacherez of Mount Nebo, Australia in 1996. Indeterminate, regular leaf, compact plants (that grow well in 3 gallon pots), multiflora blossoms produce very small, 0.5″ long, golden-yellow fruits shaped like drops or nippled pears. Good taste. No splitting. Very prolific. Fortunately they hold well on the vine because it is difficult to keep up with the production.
