About Zhiraf (Жираф)

‘Zhiraf’ is a Russian long-keeper variety. Bred in the early 1990s by Edelstein AES of Russian Timiryazev Agricultural Academy. It was included in the Russian State Register in 2006. Introduced commercially in the USA by Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2009.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces heavy yields of 2-3 oz., peach-colored exterior and pinkish-red interior, round fruits with very good flavors and keeps well after harvesting. Very good flavor for a long keeper tomato.
