‘Yusupovskiy’ tomato was bred on the experimental fields of the Research Institute of Vegetable and Melon Crops of Uzbekistan by the famous Uzbekistan breeder, Karim Yusupov. Huge (18-28oz./500-800g, but some fruit can reach even one kilogram), pink beefsteak-type tomatoes with outstanding, old-fashioned tomato aroma. Sweet, juicy, yet meaty, firm flesh with very few seeds. Excellent for fresh, on sandwiches and in salads. In the country of origin, ‘Yuspovskiy’ tomato was often used for preparing the famous Uzbek salad ‘Achchiq Chuchuk (Аччик-Чучук)’ with tomatoes, cucumber, and onion.
Vigorous, indeterminate, and regular leaf plants. Late, 95 days after transplant.
