About Yukon Quest

‘Yukon Quest’ developed by the members of the Dwarf Tomato Project from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between ‘Budai Torpe’ and ‘Black from Tula’ in 2006 and named ‘Grumpy’ family. ‘Yukon Quest’ was selected from the ‘Grumpy’ family. A selection grown by Richard Allen of Australia was sent to Susan Bailey of Alaska, who found and named ‘Yukon Quest’. Introduced commercially in 2011. Rugose, regular leaf determinate dwarf plants produce a high yield of 4-7oz./100-200g pink color, oblate or round-shaped fruits, they are balanced flavor perfect tomato taste. Midseason, 75 days after transplant.
