About White Tomesol

An amazing heirloom that is bursting with fragrance and natural goodness that’s hard to beat. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces lots of 8 oz., pale yellow-white tomatoes with a pretty blush of pink on the blossom end. Color will darken proportionately with the amount of sun exposure. Exceptional, rich, complex, sweet flavors. Delicious! RARE

David, we hope you enjoy them. They are one of the most balanced, delicate flavored white tomatoes.
        Happy growing!

I got these as a free gift when I also ordered seeds for Thornburn’s Terra Cotta Tomato. The White Tomasol seems to have a very high germination rate so I suspect that’s why they choose it for a free gift. Just planted in the ground and they seem to be a vigorous plant. Will see how they turn out.

I grew this variety for the first time this year and will grow again. It did not disappoint. Plants stay healthy and are good producers.
I just had a tomato biscuit for breakfast with my first ripe Tomesol and loved it.

How do you know when the white tomesol is ripe and ready to harvest?

Hi, fruits will turn to creamy-white color and will be softer than unripe tomatoes.
