About White Beauty (White Wonder)
A favorite early American heirloom. In 1927 Isbell’s Seed Co., of Jackson, Michigan, claimed this was the best white variety that they had ever grown. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces abundant lots of lightly flattened, oblate, 8 oz. tomatoes. The fruit is creamy white on the inside and outside. Fruit has a luscious sweetness with enough acid balance to keep taste from being wimpy like many others of this color. A favorite by chefs and gardeners as a wonderful salad tomato or making a white tomato sauce.
