Volovye Serdtse (Воловье Сердце)

‘Volovye Serdtse’ is a Russian commercial variety bred at the end of the last century and included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements in 2000. This tomato is recommended for growing both – in the open field and the greenhouse. Delicious, big (9-18 oz./250-500g), deep pink colored, beautiful, heart-shaped fruit is meaty and has few seeds. Sweet and rich tomato flavor, great for salads and sandwiches, but also perfect for cooking. Indeterminate, regular, and wispy leaf foliage. Midseason, about 75-80 days to maturity.
