About Volgogradskiy 323
Russian commercial variety, developed by Volgogradskyi Research Station of VIR from a cross Mestnyi x Bush Beefsteak. Released in 1973. First offered in the Seed Savers 1997 Yearbook by Glenn Drowns of Calamus, Iowa. Compact determinate, dwarf, rugose, regular leaf plant produces 6-12 oz., red, beefsteak tomatoes with good flavors.
