About Uncle Mark Bagby’s
First offered in the Seed Savers 2002 Yearbook by Melody Rose of Benton, Kentucky, who obtained the seeds from Nancy Forsythe, whose great uncle Mark immigrated to the U.S. from Germany in 1919 and brought the seeds with him to western Kentucky. Indeterminate, potato leaf plant produces 6-12 oz, meaty yet juicy, pink fruit with small seed locules and very good, well-balanced flavors.
