About Tyrnovskiy Rozovyy (Тырновский Розовый)

‘Tyrnovskiy Rozovyy’ is an old family heirloom tomato from the village of Tarnovo, Ryazan Region, Russia. The story about this tomato tells that the seeds were brought by coopers who went to Astrakhan (Russia) more than 100 years ago to work there.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants loaded with large (14-28oz/400-800g.), oblate, and slightly ribbed, pink beefsteaks with good old-fashioned, delicious, well-balanced tomato flavors. Excellent for fresh in salads on sandwiches or for excellent tomato juice. Early to midseason, about 68-75 days to maturity.
