About Tyrnovskiy Oranzhevyy (Тырновский Оранжевый)
‘Tyrnovskiy Oranzhevyy’ is an old family heirloom tomato from the village of Tarnovo, Ryazan Region, Russia. The story about this tomato tells that the seeds were brought by coopers who went to Astrakhan (Russia) more than 100 years ago to work there.
Indeterminate, compact, regular leaf plants produce large 7oz/200g, round and slightly ribbed, orange tomatoes with delicious, well-balanced, rich, complex flavors. Late, about 85 days to maturity.
