About Tonnelet

A red-fleshed paste tomato originally from Belgium. Name probably came from tomato looking like an antique vase. Unique, oblong, plum-shaped, red fruit with yellow-orange stripes, 2 1/2-inch long with a blunt end, produced in trusses of 6-7. A meaty tomato, with mildly sweet, delicious flavor and creamy texture.
