About Tomboy
Commercial heirloom from Missouri, USA. A stabilized cross of Earliana, L. pimpinellifolium, Break O’Day, Bison, Early Stone, and Winsall. Developed by Missouri Agric. Experimental Station and released in 1960.
Donated to the USDA in 1965. Re-introduced commercially by Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2016.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce good yields of 6-12 oz., meaty, oblate, slightly ruffled, pink fruit with small seed locules and excellent flavor. Resistance: fusarium wilt.
