Heirloom from Hungary. Donated to USDA in 1963 from Hungary. ‘Tigrus Karalis’ means ‘King Tiger’ in Latvian.
Introduced commercially by Double Helix Farms in 2012. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces copious amounts of 1-3 oz., small, round, very juicy, bright-red tomatoes, 5-7 fruits per cluster. Delicious, zesty flavors. Perfect for salad, canning, or eating fresh off the vine.
