About Tennessee Britches
‘Tennessee Britches’ is a family heirloom grew by Mr. Buckley of Dresden, Tennessee, USA for ‘as long as she could remember’. Mr. Buckley passed away back in the early 1990s. After that, the seeds were passed on to Mr. Joe Atnip – who named it “Britches” after his oldest daughter when she was a little girl. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants, that produce large (1-2 lb.), ruffled and beautiful dark-pink fruits. Delicious tomato, with robust and excellent sweet flavors. Late, about 90 days to maturity.
