About Tatar of Mongolistan

Tatar of Mongolistan AKA Tatar. Dates at least to the 1970s. Introduced commercially by Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds in the early 2000s. Original seed from Aziz Nael, an Iraqi seed collector living in Tours, France. Indeterminate, regular leaf, relatively compact plant, about 4′ tall, produces a very high yield of 4-10 oz., flattened, medium red beefsteaks. Some slightly ribbed and boat-shaped. Very beautiful. Very good balanced flavor
