About T.C. Jones
A family heirloom from Cumberland County in Kentucky, it was grown by the Jones family for at least three or more generations. Original seed came from Harry Jones, Crestwood, Cumberland County, Kentucky. The tomato is named after Harry’s grandfather T.C. Jones. Gary Millwood of Louisville, Kentucky shared the seeds with some commercial seed vendors, including Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, Blue Ribbon Tomatoes, Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds, and Southern Exposure Seed Exchange. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce 6-14 oz., light-yellow fruit with a pinkish blush. Delicious, pronounced flavors, both acidic and sweet.
