About Sweet Linda
‘Sweet Linda’ is a delicious, pink cherry tomato, bred by Millard Murdock of East Flat Rock, North Carolina, USA, from a cross made by him between ‘Marianna’s Peace’ and ‘SunGold F1’. Millard named his creation in honor of his wife, Linda. The first selection of this line was ‘Sweet as Linda’, which was a regular leaf plant. The further grow out brought a potato leaf plant that Millard named ‘Sweet Linda’.
Indeterminate, potato leaf plants produce an abundant yield of beautiful, small, round, dark pink, sweet cherry tomatoes with very intense and rich tomato flavors that start with a nice bite and finish with delicious sweetness. Very prolific and resistant to cracking. Early, about 65 days to maturity.
