About Sterling Old Norway
First offered in the Seed Savers 1994 Yearbook by Merlyn Niedens of Polo, Illinois, who obtained the seed from a gardener (Bill Schwitzer) in the Sterling Illinois area. It may have originally come from Norway. Introduced commercially by Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2014. Indeterminate, regular leaf, plant with wispy foliage produce 5-14 oz., large, pink, heart-shaped fruits that can be ruffled and irregularly shaped. Excellent full flavors with delicious sweetness.
