Sladkiy Ponchik (Сладкий Пончик)

About Sladkiy Ponchik (Сладкий Пончик)

‘Sladkiy Ponchik’ is a Russian commercial variety from ‘Sibirskiy Sad’. Determinate, regular leaf plants, that produce orange/yellow, medium size, round and oblate fruits. Sweet and mild flesh, with low amount of acid, juicy and aromatic. Perfect for those, who are sensitive to the acid in tomatoes. Great slicer and perfect salad tomato with excellent production from midseason (first ripe fruit can be harvested about 75 days after transplant). According to the ‘Sibirskiy Sad’ this variety has a good resistance to Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) and adapted well to cool weather conditions.
