About Simpson Summer Palace

Made available in the mid 1990s by Simpson’s Seeds, UK. It supposedly had been found growing in the grounds of the summer palace in the Russian capital of one of the Czars many years ago. Introduced commercially in North America by Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2015. Compact indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces 2-3 oz., red, round, fruits that are blemish and crack free, firm, and loaded with with good acidic flavors. A perfect choice for canning or fresh market. Great for growing in containers.
