About Sibirskiy Gigant (Сибирский Гигант)
‘Sibirskiy Gigant’ is a Russian commercial variety, created and introduced commercially by Gavrish Seed Company. It was included in the Russian State Registry in 2013. The name means ‘Siberian Giant’ in Russian. Large (average about 14-28 oz./400–800g, but some fruits can reach even 1200g), red, irregular beefsteak-type fruits with meaty yet juicy, firm flesh, sweet tomato taste, and strong, old-fashioned aroma. Huge yield in the second half of the season. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants grow up to about 1.8 meters tall. Very good disease-resistant. Late, about 85 days to maturity.
