About Siberian Tiger

‘Siberian Tiger’ was bred by Mark McCaslin of Frogsleap Farm, USA. Selected from the ‘OSU’ and ‘Beauty King’ cross*.
‘Siberian Tiger’ is an indeterminate, regular leaf tomato plant that produces medium-large (5-11oz./150-300g) beefsteaks with deep pink and dark purple patches and stripes of anthocyanin pigment. Each fruit is unique since the pigmented patches develop differently on each tomato; full of mild and sweet flavor. Early to midseason.

* There is also ‘Pink Siberian Tiger’ tomato, that was developed from the same cross. The main difference between those two lines is the color of their skin. ‘Siberian Tiger’ has a yellow epidermis and ‘Pink Siberian Tiger’ – a clear epidermis.
