‘Shokoladnaya Zebra’ is a Russian origin, developed by one of the biggest Russian seed company Sibirskiy Sad. Distinctive features of the variety are the color and taste of the fruit. Sweet, chocolate brown fruit with thin lime-colored stripes. Recommended for growing both – in open field and in greenhouse. Semi-determinate, regular leaf plants grow up to about 1.2m in open field and about 1.5m in the greenhouse. Setting 4-6 large, flattened fruit with slightly ruffled shoulders on each truss. Very good balanced sweet and sour taste, dense, aromatic flesh. Great for fresh. Midseason, first ripe fruit can be harvested about 75 days after transplant.
