It was included in the Russian State Register in 2008. Name means ‘Shere Khan’ in Russian. (This is a name of a fictional tiger who appears in two of Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book stories featuring Mowgli.) Introduced commercially by Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2015. Dwarf determinate, regular leaf plant produces 3-6 oz., long sausage-shaped, meaty, red tomatoes with orange stripes, dry flesh, and few seeds. Good flavor that is slightly more acidic than sweet.
