About Shenghaung Cherry
Seeds sent to Gary Ibsen of TomatoFest in 2001 from a farmer in the Zhengjiang province of China as a family favorite for generations. Gary included this variety in the TomatoFest seed trials for 4 years and found it to be a wonderful tomato. He then released it to the public. This 5′, indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces an abundance of beautiful red, round, 1″, cherries filled with sweet but slightly tart flavors.
