About Sean’s Yellow Dwarf
Developed in the 2006-2013 by the members of the Dwarf Tomato Project from a cross between Budai Torpe and Cherokee Green (Witty family), made in 2006 by Patrina Nuske Small in Australia.
It is the collaborative work of Patrina Nuske Small, Lee Newman (who named it after his friend, Sean, in whose garden it first appeared), Linda Stormes, Ginny Bishton, Ruth TenBrink and Craig LeHoullier.
Introduced commercially by Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2014. Dwarf indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces heavy crop of 3-7oz./80-200g., medium-sized, oblate, bright-yellow fruit with a very pale yellow juicy flesh and delightfully delicious flavors.
