About Saraev Bezrassadnyi (Сараев Безрассадный)
‘Saraev Bezrassadnyi’ is a cold-tolerant selection by a Russian tomato breeder P.Y. Saraev, who specialized in breeding tomatoes that can withstand freezing temperatures. Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds received 15-year-old seeds from Valery Popenko of Semei, Kazakhstan in 2014. The seeds had very good germination, and the 2015 grow-out was successful. Compact determinate, regular leaf plants produce bountiful early harvest of 3-6 oz., red, medium-sized, round, oblate, juicy fruits with bold and delightful tomato flavors with an acidic finish. Great variety for growing in containers. A good market tomato.
