About San Marzano Lampadina

‘San Marzano Lampadina’ is an heirloom tomato that originated in Italy. Now an American as well as Italian favorite. Vigorous indeterminate, regular-leaf plants produce very high yields of large, deep-lobed, deep-red fruit shaped like an elongated sweet pepper. Very meaty with delicious, complex, tomatoey flavors making it a wonderful choice for a classically delicious sauce. The fruit has thick flesh with open seed cavities.
