About Sailor’s Luck
‘Sailor’s Luck’ is a variety developed by Jason Haynes, from the cross made between ‘Vintage Wine’ tomato and ‘Black Ethiopian’. Strong, vigorous, indeterminate plants with potato leaf foliage. Good production from the middle of the season. Small (3-4 oz.), irregular plum-shaped fruit, sometimes with the pointy end. Beautifully colored outside – metallic green stripes on purple skin. Purple/black, juicy, and very tasty flesh. Midseason, about 75 days to maturity.
