About Russian Green
Russian origin. Seeds collected by Suzanne Ashworth of CA from Vasile Spirov. Original Russian name has been lost. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce very large yields of 6-12 oz., large, round to oblate green-when-ripe tomatoes with dark-green shoulders. Fruits acquire an amber glow when fully ripe and brag a beautiful yellow-green flesh. Very meaty but juicy flesh. Excellent sweet complex, tomatoey flavors.
