About Rumpelstiltskin
‘Rumpelstiltskin’ was developed by Blane Horton of Jackson, Mississippi, USA, from a cross made between ‘Dwarf Wild Fred’ and Keith Mueller’s H-28 line and named ‘Rumpelstiltskin Project’*.
Small to medium-sized (3-5oz./80-150g), slightly flattened yellow beefsteaks, sometimes with a red blush when fully ripe. Juicy flesh with sweet, fruity flavors, and a nice citrus aftertaste. Verry productive dwarf-type tomato plants with regular and rugose leaf foliage grow up to 1.2 meters tall. Midseason, about 75 days to maturity.
* The following varieties were also selected from the same cross: ‘Delta Diver’, ‘Delta Dawn’, ‘Delta Red’.
