About Rozovyi Gigant (Розовый Гигант)
‘Rozovyi Gigant’, AKA ‘Rozovi Gigant’, AKA ‘Pink Giant’. Russian commercial variety, bred by Panchev Yuri Ivanovich for NK.LTD. It was included in the Russian State Register in 2001. The name of this variety means ‘Pink Giant’ in Russian. Andrey Baranovski of Minsk, Belarus introduced this variety in the Seed Savers 2007 Yearbook, which is pink and regular leafed. First introduced commercially in North America by Victory Seed Company in 2009. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces 8-18 oz., pink beefsteak tomatoes with an excellent sweet flavor. Meaty flesh with small seed cavities.
