About Rozhdestvenskiy (Рождественский)

‘Rozhdestvenskiy’ is a Russian commercial variety introduced by the ‘Belogorka’ seed company in 2006. It was entered into the Russian State Register in 2008.
Determinate, regular-leaf tomato plants produce abundantly small (2oz./60g) round tomatoes. The unripe fruit is green and turns orange with a red blush on the blossom end. Fully ripe fruit is reddish-orange with red flesh and a red top. Tomatoes ripen from the inside out, resulting in sweet, dense flesh. This variety has an exceptionally long shelf life and can be stored for up to a year in dry paper or hay-lined boxes. Resistant to Fusarium, Cladosporium, Verticillium, TMV, and late blight. Late, about 92 days after transplant.
