About Rila F1 Hybrid

‘Rila F1’ is a hybrid variety developed by Bulgarian seed company ‘Geosem Select’. This variety has been grown in almost all Bulgarian gardens for its great taste, adaptability, and productivity. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants loaded with medium to large (180-200g) beautiful, round, red fruits growing in clusters 5-6 fruits each. Firm flesh with excellent quality, taste, and storage ability. Very good disease restaince (ToMV/Va/Vd/Fol/For; IR: Mi). Midseason, about 67-80 days to maturity.

    I have grown this variety for many years and have never had a failure. Friends ask what I do to have such great tomatoes every year. Actually, once in the ground and supported, nothing. Just do not let the ground dry out too much.
