Redskin

Redskin AKA Potato Red Skins. First offered in the Seed Savers 1997 Yearbook by Neil Lockhart of Oblong, Illinois. Compact, indeterminate, regular leaf plant with delicate, wispy foliage produces 5-12 oz., red, blunt heart-shaped fruits with meaty texture, smooth shoulders and exceptionally rich and sweet flavors. Very few seeds. Some of the tomatoes may have what appears to be a ‘russet’ skin, hence probably the name.
