About Red Charcoal

‘Red Charcoal’ is a very rare collectors variety that is a part of the anthocyanin tomatoes family. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce small (3-4oz./80-120g), deep red-colored fruits with strong anthocyanin splash on the sun-exposed part of the fruit. The color of the fruit resembles flaming coals, hence the name of the variety. Good balanced, sweet and sour tomato taste with a slightly acidic finish. Good disease resistance. Mid-season, about 80 days to maturity.
