About Rebel Yell
Rebel Yell is a variety developed from a cross made by Rob Gee of Ohio, USA, in 2007 between ‘Stump of the World’ and ‘Bear Claw’. Selected and stabilized by Blane Horton of Jackson, Mississippi, USA. Introduced commercially by ‘Marianna’s Heirloom Seeds’ and ‘Secret Seed Cartel’ in 2014. Indeterminate, tall, and vigorous, potato leaf plants with potato leaf vines, produce pink, middle-sized (180-360g) beefsteak-type fruit with smooth shoulders. The taste is delicious and sweet. Midseason, about 75 days from transplant.
