‘Rannyaya Lyubov’ is a Russian commercial variety, that is listed by many Russian seed companies*. First offered in the Seed Savers 2008 Yearbook by Charles Bowler of Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, who received the seeds from Andrey Baranovski of Minsk, Belarus. Determinate, bushy, regular leaf plants that produces medium to large (8-14 oz.), pink, beefsteak-type fruit with very good, sweet flavor. Midseason, about 75-80 days to maturity.
* Under the same name, there is also red, indeterminate tomato variety, that was bred in 1999 by group of Russian breeders from the ‘Gavrish’ seed company and listed since 2001 in the ‘State Register of the Russian Federation’.
