About Queen Aliquippa
‘Queen Aliquippa’ was bred by Phill Seneca of Good Mind Seeds. Pedigree of maternal lines was his tomato Ongweh Ias. According to the breeder, it was ‘named after the last matriarch of my people to live within the hills of my birthplace. She was Mingo Seneca meaning that her people had been assimilated into mine, and at one time was a separate nation’.
Indeterminate, potato leaf plants produce an outstanding yield of medium-sized (3-5oz./80-150g), green when ripe, pear-shaped fruits that have a very good, well-balanced, rich tomato taste with sweet and fruity flavors. Midseason, about 75 days to maturity.
