‘Purple Smaragd’ is originally from Wienerwald, Austria. Indeterminate but compact, regular leaf plants with beautiful elongated fruits with pointy ends. Dark purple skin with green stripes and very tasty, sweet, juicy flesh. Very good yield, about 70-75 days from transplant.
