About Punta Banda
Seeds originally collected on the Punta Banda Peninsula in Baja California. Grown by indigenous farmers for many generations. Bushy, determinate plants produce hundreds of red, meaty, thicker-skinned cherry tomatoes with well-balanced sweet-tart flavors. Some say the flavor is even better than San Marzano. Punta Banda tomato produces well in higher altitudes, warmer regions to desert regions (Not so good in cold climates). Good snacking tomato and salad tomato. Punta Banda excels at making paste since there is almost no juice.
