About Pudovik (Пудовик)
‘Pudovik’ is a Russian commercial variety, that was created by a team of Novosibirsk breeders under the direction of V. N. Dederko. The variety was included in the State Register of the Russian Federation in 2007, intended for small farms. Pudovik is considered an indeterminate or semi-determinant variety. Plants grow up to about 150-170cm. Regular, wispy leaf vines produce a huge yield of large, pink heart-shaped tomatoes with medium-dense, juicy flesh. The average weight of fruit is about 300-500g, but some may weigh even about one kilogram. Excellent tomato flavor and high disease resistance. Midseason, about 75 days to mature.
