About Pomehana Apple

‘Pomehana Apple’ is a small (2oz./50g) bi-colored tomato developed by Tom Wagner of Everett, Washington, USA. This beautiful tomato comes from the F2 generation of the ‘Green Grape Pineapple’ line. ‘Pomehana’ means ‘hot love’ in Hawaiian, so the name of this tomato can be translated as ‘hot love apple’. Tom Wagner said, that ‘Pomehana Apple’ is a play on words, just like her, she plays with our taste buds’.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants are loaded with more or less heart-shaped, yellowish-orange outside and bi-colored inside (yellow and red) fruits that have a delicious, sweet flavor with fruity overtones. Very prolific plants produce well until the first frost. Late, 90 days after transplant.
