From Quebec. A family heirloom from Aurelius Plourde of St. Alexandre de Kamouraska whose family has grown it since 1925. First introduced in Seed Savers 2009 Yearbook by Neil Gillard of Ontario, Canada. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces 6-11 oz., bright-red tomatoes with slightly ruffled shoulders. Very meaty flesh with few seeds. Excellent, complex flavors, more sweet than acidic. Great salad tomato.
