About Rozovyi Myod (Розовый Мёд, Pink Honey)
‘Rozovyi Myod’ is a Russian commercial variety, that was first introduced to North America in the late 2000’s by Andrey Baranovski of Minsk, Belarus who translate the name and shared the seeds as ‘Pink Honey’. First offered in the Seed Savers 2007 Yearbook by Neil Lockhart of Oblong, Illinois. Regular leaf, short and bushy, determinate plants, grows up to 35” and prduces huge (12-20 oz. or more), beautiful, pink, blunt hearts with very good, sweet flavor. Midseason, about 80 days to maturity.
