About Pink Boar
Developed by Brad Gates from Wild Boar Farms, Napa, CA. This variety originally appeared in a patch of Black and Brown Boar. First offered in the Seed Savers 2009 Yearbook by Julianna Griffin of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces lots of 4 oz., round fruits with strikingly attractive purple/black color with green/grey metallic stripes. Excellent strong flavor which is slightly more acidic than sweet.
